PERFECT FOR MY DIET! :)

This morning I looked over last weeks lesson from Children’s Ministry at our church.  The kids missed Childrens Church this past Sunday.. we were running late, so I let them come into “big church” with me.  I didn’t want them to fall behind, so I checked it out online so we could look it over together tonight.  The lesson fit right in with the purpose of this blog. “living simply because I’m Simply His”.

JESUS WITH MARY

AND MARTHA

Luke 10:38-42

Jesus and His disciples came to

Martha’s home. Her sister, Mary,

sat at Jesus’ feet listening to

what He said. Martha was busy

with all the things that had

to be done. She said, “Jesus,

tell Mary to help me!” Jesus told

her, “You are worried about many

things, but only one thing is important.

Mary has made the better

choice. She can stay where she is.

I am in the process of making a poster with the kids about NOT Making time for Jesus…. Confused?? We have decided to practice “making time for other things” instead of making time for Jesus.  Since we want HIM to be our daily focus, He should consume our day, and we should have to make time for other things…not for Jesus… we will plan our days with Him as our focus, serving Him, and living for Him by serving others… and “make time” for the other things we do.

What makes you too busy to spend

time with Jesus??
